History and development of Ruschuk ship

Ruschuk ship has existed since 2007. It was built in a Romanian shipyard in the town of Chernavoda. It has recently been renovated and launched on the Danube river. Ruschuk was known under the name of Drastar and until 2015 had been serving clients in the region of Silistra.
At present the ship offers sightseeing cruises and trips along the Danube river to tourists and residents of the city of Ruse. Ruschuk has 66 seats for passengers, as well as experienced and qualified staff taking care of the bars and places for entertainment.

There is a pleasant hall with a small bar on the lower deck of the ship, and on the upper deck there is a place for taking pictures and walks, as well as sofas.

The ship has all the licenses necessary to offer tourist trips and cruises along the Danube river. The coordinators of kids’ safety on the vessel have introduced the obligatory requirement that kids should be accompanied by their parents or a teacher, who will take care of them, while they are on the ship.

Cruises on board of Ruschuk ship in the territorial waters of Ruse take place every weekday from 6:00 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday excursions take place from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The management of the ship offers an opportunity for organized trips to the neighboring villages of Stalpishte and Ryahovo.
The price for a whole group of 66 people is 300 BGN for one hour, and the trip starts from the Potona water restaurant on the Danube and ends in the same place. If the passengers are fewer, the price of tickets is 10 BGN for kids to 12 years of age, and 15 BGN for adults.
